The 35th FCI IGP World Championship will take place on September 7-13, 2026 in Tychy, Poland.
The top six (5 + 1 reserve) eligible dog-handler teams at the CWDF IGP All-breed Nationals, will earn positions on the Canadian Team for the 2026 FCI IGP World Championship.
Ties will be broken by high protection score, then high obedience score. Should one of these top six handlers reject or be ineligible for their position, the position(s) will be filled by the next highest score eligible dog-handler team.
The top 5 scoring IGP 3 dog-handlers teams will be eligible for a spot on the Canadian Team for the 2026 FCI-IGP World Championship (pending CKC validation). Handlers willing to apply for a spot on the team must declare their interest by June 1st, 2026, using this form: https://form.jotform.com/DogSportForms/team-canada-application-FCIIGP-2026
Note that by FCI policy, dogs must be registered in their country of participation for at least 6 months before the start date of the World Championship.
